This Privacy Policy explains how PladaTech (Pvt) Ltd, trading as PladaTech, collects, uses, shares, retains and protects personal information. PladaTech is a Sri Lankan e-commerce and wholesale-product business based in Ekala, Sri Lanka, serving customers, resellers, online sellers and bulk buyers.

It applies when you view our website, submit a product enquiry or order, use a Facebook or Meta Instant Form, contact us through WhatsApp, or communicate with us about fulfilment and delivery. PladaTech does not currently provide customer registration, customer login, saved customer profiles or online account order history.

Depending on how you interact with us, PladaTech may collect the following information:

• Customer and delivery details: your name, phone number, delivery address, city or district, selected or requested product, order quantity, and information included in an order or enquiry.
• Communications: information you submit through website order or enquiry forms, Facebook or Meta Instant Forms, and WhatsApp conversations that you initiate.
• Technical and advertising information: browser or device type, IP address or approximate location where supplied by the relevant service, pages viewed, button clicks and other website interactions, referral source, advertising campaign or conversion information, and cookie identifiers or similar tracking data.

We may receive information:

• Directly from you when you submit a website order or enquiry form.
• From Meta after you submit a Facebook or Meta Instant Form.
• From a WhatsApp conversation that you voluntarily start with PladaTech.
• Automatically through confirmed website technologies such as Meta Pixel when you visit or interact with the website.

The exact technical fields available to PladaTech may depend on the service, device settings and platform permissions involved.

PladaTech may use personal information to:

• Respond to product enquiries and contact you about the product you selected.
• Confirm an order, delivery details and Cash on Delivery arrangements.
• Prepare, fulfil, dispatch and deliver orders, and communicate delivery updates.
• Provide customer support and resolve order or delivery issues.
• Prevent fraud, misuse and unauthorised activity.
• Maintain necessary order records.
• Measure website and advertising performance and attribute enquiries or conversions.
• Understand which advertisements and website pages generate enquiries.
• Improve website usability, products and customer service.
• Meet applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

PladaTech does not currently send unrelated promotional email, SMS or WhatsApp marketing campaigns. Contact details are used mainly for the requested product, order confirmation, delivery and related customer support. Submitting an order does not automatically enrol you in a marketing programme.

PladaTech fulfils orders directly. We use the product, quantity, customer and delivery information you provide to confirm availability, prepare the order, arrange Cash on Delivery, dispatch the parcel and support delivery. We may contact you if information is incomplete or if a delivery detail requires confirmation.

PladaTech does not currently offer website card payments and does not ask for or store debit-card or credit-card details for these orders. Necessary delivery information may be provided to an authorised courier company or delivery personnel so the order can reach you.

You may choose to submit an enquiry or order through a Facebook or Meta Instant Form. Meta initially processes the information under its own privacy terms and then makes the submitted lead information available to PladaTech.

PladaTech uses this information to respond to your product enquiry, confirm the order and arrange delivery. Under our current business process, these leads are not used for unrelated promotional messaging.

You may voluntarily contact PladaTech through WhatsApp. Messages, phone numbers and other information sent through WhatsApp are also processed by WhatsApp or Meta under their own terms and privacy practices.

PladaTech uses the conversation for product enquiries, order confirmation, delivery coordination and customer support. You can contact us on WhatsApp at 074 190 0434.

The website uses or may use cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies, including Meta Pixel and related Meta advertising measurement. These technologies may collect or receive technical and advertising information and may be used to:

• Operate website functionality and measure visits and interactions.
• Measure advertising performance.
• Attribute an enquiry or conversion to an advertisement.
• Improve website performance and marketing effectiveness.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or similar technologies may affect some website functionality or the accuracy of performance and advertising measurement.

PladaTech does not sell or rent personal information. We may share information only when reasonably necessary with:

• Kubiyo or another authorised courier partner, and relevant delivery personnel.
• PladaTech staff involved in order processing, fulfilment and customer support.
• Confirmed infrastructure providers, including Supabase for application data and Cloudinary for website media delivery, where relevant to providing and maintaining the website.
• Meta services used for lead collection, Meta Pixel and advertising or conversion measurement.
• WhatsApp when you choose to communicate through WhatsApp.
• Professional advisers, regulators, government authorities or law-enforcement bodies when required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

PladaTech fulfils orders directly and does not routinely provide customer details to unrelated product suppliers.

Kubiyo is the currently confirmed courier partner. PladaTech may also use another authorised courier partner or delivery personnel when reasonably necessary to complete a delivery.

Couriers and drivers receive only information reasonably needed for delivery, such as:

• Customer name and phone number.
• Delivery address and city or district.
• Order or delivery details needed to identify and complete the delivery.

Personal information associated with enquiries and orders is generally retained for up to three months after the enquiry is closed or the order is completed, cancelled or otherwise resolved.

Information may be retained for longer when reasonably necessary for an unresolved delivery issue, dispute, fraud prevention, legal claim, accounting requirement or another applicable legal obligation. When information is no longer reasonably required, PladaTech will delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it where practical. This does not mean that every record is automatically and permanently deleted at exactly the three-month mark.

PladaTech uses reasonable organisational and technical safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorised access, accidental loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised disclosure and destruction. Access should be limited to people and service providers who reasonably need the information for the purposes described in this policy.

No online system, internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot promise absolute security.

Subject to applicable Sri Lankan law, you may contact PladaTech to request:

• Access to personal information held about you.
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion of information that is no longer required.
• Restriction of or objection to certain processing.
• Withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent.
• Clarification about how your personal information is being handled.

Send privacy requests to info@pladatech.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request, and some requests may be limited by applicable law or a lawful record-retention obligation.

This website and PladaTech’s products are not intentionally directed at children. PladaTech does not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children. A parent or guardian who believes that a child submitted personal information may contact info@pladatech.com.

Some technology providers may process information on servers located outside Sri Lanka. Where a third-party service processes information internationally, that processing is governed by the provider’s contractual terms, privacy practices and applicable data-protection requirements.

PladaTech selects and uses service providers for legitimate website, communication, advertising measurement, hosting, storage and order-processing purposes. We do not claim that all information is stored only in Sri Lanka.

The website may link to WhatsApp, Facebook or other third-party platforms. Their websites, applications and services operate under their own privacy policies. PladaTech does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices of those external platforms. We encourage you to review their privacy information before providing personal information directly to them.

PladaTech may update this Privacy Policy when its website, business processes, service providers or legal obligations change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Please review this page periodically if you want to stay informed about our current practices.
